We are a 10-year old practice, doing comprehensive financial planning for 200 families. We have a team size of 4, adding 2 additional this summer. The team includes 2 CFPs. Though we have 40 years of experience among the four of us, our average age is 33. As such, we have 25-30 years of continuity, before creating our own succession plan. We are tying to grow our AUM practice, which was $5m 4 years ago, and is now $25m, as well as engage more retiree clients in their "distribution" phase. We help our clients with insurance, investment, and comprehensive financial planning, including fee-based planning, should they so choose.
