Overview

My business primarily consists of financial planning for anywhere between young couples all the way up to retirees. I don't charge a fee for planning, rather I'm compensated through the products my clients place with me. My compensation typically comes from 50% insurance and 50% investments. Regarding insurance I mostly sell life, however I do sell disability and LTC from time to time. On the investment side I try to use mostly fee based platforms but occasionally have to use mutual funds. I incorporate some annuities for my older clients when the situation dictates it.

I have been slowly growing my practice through my natural market and referrals but would like to take it to the next level. I know some middle aged advisors who found success by purchasing a practice and would like to pursue that option if available.
