Great Valley Advisor Group (GVA) is an SEC Registered Investment Advisor (CRD#: 123913) that provides a robust platform and vast network of like-minded advisors to help independent advisors grow their businesses. As an SEC RIA, we offer two distinct channels: Hybrid RIA – GVA acts as the SEC RIA & LPL Financial acts as the Broker-Dealer or RIA Only – GVA acts as the SEC RIA Only.
1. Flexibility – Our primary custodian is LPL Financial, however, having other options, such as Charles Schwab and Fidelity Investments provides more opportunities and deeper client engagement. By partnering these options with deep technology integrations and strong operational support, it helps you focus on gathering more assets and providing your clients with more choices around their overall financial picture.
2. Compliance – GVA was built on a strong compliance culture, and we strive to maintain that every day. From our internal compliance team to our outsourced compliance consultants, you can feel confident we are acting in your best interest. We provide streamlined compliance operations and forms allowing you to focus more time on your clients versus back-office paperwork.
3. Technology Stack – Our technology platform includes a Salesforce solution with data feeds and financial planning, Advisor Book Of Business (AdvisorBOB), Oncehub Scheduling, Riskalyze, and other options based on your needs. Feel free to utilize these offerings, or work with our team to build out the ideal office environment.
4. SecureOffice – Having the proper infrastructure is crucial to get you off the ground on day one. That's why we partnered with select firms to provide our advisors with SecureOffice, a robust IT solution that provides managed IT support, a secure office environment (Office 365 E5 + Sharepoint), and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), and esEndpoint.
5. GVA Asset Management – We've built an in-house asset management program that's allowed our advisors to provide ETF Only Models, Blends Models (MF + ETF + Equity), or Stock models to their clients for a 20-25 bps program fee and 100% payout. The program fee covers all trading, operations, and paperwork, as you would work with a dedicated member of our team to handle your operational needs. 6. High Net Worth – We work very closely with high-net-worth individuals and have a direct connection to the appropriate contacts at LPL Financial to make sure you get the proper coverage you would need from the private client group. In addition, we also have advisors in our network that focus specifically on high net worth planning and wealth management, with clients ranging from $5M - $500M.
7. Branding – There are two primary channels for GVA advisors, plug into an existing office or build your brand. Each office is different, and we love helping advisors build their own brand. We work with multiple marketing companies, such as Advsry and FMG Suite, to make this happen. This is included as part of your transition to GVA.
8. Pro Forma – Transparency is crucial in this business, and we understand that in addition to you deciding to go independent, you are also making the decision to become a businessowner. Therefore, we want you to understand the details, and costs, associated with this transition. We will put together a pro forma outlining these details and provide it back to you to help you with your journey.
9. Network - GVA's culture as an open organization empowers our advisors to collaborate, develop, and debate, ultimately leading to better decisions for their offices and their clients.
