My practice is 80% fee-based, 15% C share, 4% annuities, rest other. I've been licensed for 15 years. My client base is $28 million and I have plenty of bandwidth in my service model to take on more clients. I strongly encourage focusing on long term goals so my client base has been relatively calm during market corrections. Encouraging clients to do periodic financial plans keeps them focused on those goals. In addition, I send out quarterly newsletters.
