Average age of my clients are around 60 and within a few years of retiring. I have built my practice on these individual clients with a mix of retirement plans for small businesses. The vast majority of my clients are managed on an Asset Fee basis.
I have always been open to the possibility of purchasing a book of business that would strengthen my business model in which I have built. I have clients in multiple states which gives me a certain freedom to where I can prospect or acquire business.
I have previous experience with merging another advisor's clients into my own which has worked out very well for everyone.
