We are a family practice that is looking to acquire other Triangle area practices. This is my 30th year in the business, and I'm 51. I plan on working 30 more years. I have one son in the practice and will have one or two more join us in the next few years. I'm looking to build this practice for the next generation. We work with high net worth clients, and retirement plans. We incorporate a great deal of academic research in our practice. We are willing to slightly overpay if we can negotiate a smooth transition that keeps the principals of the acquired firm involved, and provides them with a generous earn out as they slowly retire. We need the right fit. We're looking for experienced advisors in the Triangle, who are looking to retire, and want to gradually turn over their book to an advisor that is as competent as they are. We will overbid for the right fit.
