I'm an RIA firm, with long-term buy and hold clients. I have an extremely faithful client base who are prepped to sit tight when a market correction occurs.

I'm looking to buy a practice of an exiting advisor who shares this same philosophy. The way I would be willing to do this is if the advisor is willing to introduce me into their current review appointment process so the client can get to know me over a period of time as the advisor's successor. I'm looking to buy an A share book, fee-based book, or combination of the two. I'm not interested in buying a book of mostly annuities. Ideal selling advisor will be near Meadows road in Lake Oswego, but that's not a deal breaker. I'm happy to come to your office for all review appointments, until the transition is finally made.
