I am looking to expand my advisory focused practice through an acquisition, while maintaining the best interest of the clients within the practice that I acquire. I am open to a discussion with an advisor with a commission based book, in order to see if it make good business sense to convert some of those assets to a fee based institutional share platform. I would like the advisor of the practice I am buying to stay on board for a period of 1-3 years, in order to make sure the clients are comfortable with the transition. The large majority of my client base resides in North Atlanta, and I would like that to be the case with the new practice as well.
