$52MM AUM / $325K Gross Revenue. This is a wholistic practice that interweaves insurance-based products, alternatives, TAMPs, and our own actively traded stock portfolios to potentially accomplish client objectives for growth and income. Equity positions across the board are mostly individual stocks and ETFs. 10% of the practice is in 401k accounts and we are attracting clients with a high net worth due to our experience in estate planning and charitable giving. Roughly 75% of compensation is fee-based.
I haven't quite decided if I want to retire, sell, merge, or establish a continuity plan but want to finalize my direction within 2-3 years. That said, if the right opportunity presented itself, I'd give it careful consideration before then.
The ideal candidate would be a CFP, someone willing to join our broker/dealer, and have experience or willingness to learn active trading. Skill set as a rain-maker is a plus. Client-centered attitude and customer service is an absolute must.
