As a captive agent, my primary asset is myself. Though only mid 40's I am seasoned and articulate, and work seamlessly between multiple socioeconomic groups. I have been a student of the markets for over 3 decades, and it translates.
The lion share of current business is derived from life insurance, but I've had extensive experience with annuities, mutual funds, LTC, and individual securities. Without sounding overtly conceited, I will merely say that I've outgrown my company, and our limited selection of offerings.
