Financial planning practice focused on retirement transition planning (with ongoing guidance in the years to follow) looking to acquire a practice focused on this niche as well.
Based in Central New York but accustomed to working with out of town clients through travel and zoom meetings. Other east coast states would be considered.
Looking for someone that is interesting in transitioning out of the business over a reasonable period of time (2-3 years) to ensure clients are comfortable with the new CFPs on the team. Not interested in an ongoing consulting arrangement with selling advisor after transition period.
Practice with clients average age in 60s and 70s.
AUM revenue to represent over 70% of gross revenue.
Ideally practice will have engaged in a financial planning process at some point with clients.
