CFP practitioner in central Phoenix looking to expand practice through purchase of similar size or smaller books. Run an RIA only investment platform, discretionary trading through four model portfolios using hybrid ETF's and then customizing further based on each client's circumstances. Strong emphasis on client education and financial planning as the primary driver of a client's decision-making. Been in practice over 30 years without a complaint. Also have a separate speaking/author business as a personal finance expert to the military community. Currently, my son is cutting his teeth at a large fund company with a plan to join our firm in the next year. Our vision for growth is multi-generational.

Ideal practice for acquisition will be serving investors 40-80 years old, businessowners, and employer plans with a strong emphasis in financial planning. Can accommodate seller staying on board, but not necessary for the right fit. Also, for "hybrid books" I'm well versed in insurance/annuity products (entered the biz through a career agency system), able to service the mix so none of a client's needs/accounts are neglected.
