I would like to have a conversation with an advisor wishing to wind down their career and chat about their exit strategy. Whether you're interested in selling your book outright or establishing a more transitional succession plan, we could be a great fit. I have been in the business for almost 20 years and have helped a handful of advisors with this phase as they contemplated retirement. I am currently in Houston but will be moving to Hot Springs later this year so we can be closer to family. Thus, I will be selling most of my Houston book and will be looking to expand my current business in Arkansas. As you know, all practices in our industry are unique but I have the flexibility to structure your transition in a number of ways depending on your preference: - full upfront cash buyout of book - small percentage up front, designate a 0-5 year plan to maximize client acceptance and smooth transition, buyout lump sum or income stream when term matures. - merge practice, set up joint rep agreement effectively letting the transitioning rep stay on as a paid consultant while working from home or the office, long term buyout when ready. There are many ways to structure these deals, including the option of you retaining 100% ownership until the buyout is fully funded. If you're at the winding down stage, it doesn't hurt to chat. I'm looking to expand and if it's a match, I'll do my best to structure a fair deal for both of us. If not a match, no hard feelings either way. I am only interested in the Little Rock/ Hot Springs/Garland County areas.
