Description:
The position requires a polished individual who has a thorough knowledge of the financial services business and who is committed to being part of a team that delivers comprehensive client solutions. This individual must be comfortable working in a “start-up” like environment launched by credentialed and well-tenured advisors with 20+ years of experience. They must be reliable, organized, tech-savvy, goal-oriented, and able to work well in a self-directed and collaborative environment.

Qualifications:
• 5+ Years of Industry experience
• Series 65
• CFP Preferred

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Support managing advisor – ensure client meetings are fully prepped, act as second chair during client meetings, take detailed meeting notes summarizing meeting action and follow up items, prepare and send recap emails post client meetings, relay action and/or follow up items to necessary team members, edit and build out financial plans, ensure assigned post meeting action items are completed in a timely manner, support special projects assigned from managing advisor.

• Manage Investments and Trading Portfolios - work with the back office CFA and institutional partners to update portfolio models in Eclipse/Orion, implement trades, which include periodic monthly distributions, contributions, and annual RMDs, articulate trade rational to clients .

• Manage eMoney software – Lead 1:1 eMoney sessions with clients to fix connections and update database relating to their financial plan, attend weekly meetings and work with back office planning team to create and build out profiles and ensure the client data they inputted is accurate, be the lead expert on software by keeping up to date with new features and understanding every function the software offers, update and maintain client profiles.

• Manage and service clients – lead client meetings when necessary, handle or delegate various client requests, ensure clients receive the proper level of service and communication from the firm, independently handle complex issues and problems.
• Manage 401k portfolio – coordinate new 401k plans by working with client, TPA and Recordkeeper, lead on-site 401k open enrollment meetings, facilitate 401(k) service model, and benchmark existing plans within the industry to ensure the lowest fees and best services for the firm’s clients.

• Maintain CRM and firm software - Update client profiles as necessary in CRM to ensure integrity of database, update activities/opportunities by notating detailed progress notes, notate all communication records, save client resources in DropBox, ensure client portfolio models are accurate in Orion.

• Attend monthly association events - be the face of Welborn Financial at events, network with association members and prospects to bring in new business to the firm – Insurance, consulting, investing, etc., work with operational/admin team to target new firm opportunities.

• Attend weekly industry meetings – ensure Welborn Financial is aware of any new regulations or changes made to current regulations, be up to date on the latest market news, be properly educated on the firm’s current portfolio models.

This will be a full-time hybrid-position (remote and in-person) based out of Phoenix, AZ.
