Overview

I am looking for a small, younger book of business. My practice has a fairly conservative approach, more value driven than growth - always with an eye on increasing income. In the industry for 35+/- years. In production for 29 years. Shearson, UBS and independent as of 2012. Note that current IBD is being absorbed by Cetera Advisors over the next few months. My approach to account management is what some might call "old school". If it's not liquid, I don't invest in it, all accounts, both fee based and commission based are 100% publicly traded securities chosen by me. I do not operate under discretion as this enforces the most optimal level of communication and relationship building. Although insurance licensed, I have not dropped a ticket in years. Only consider mutual funds when not enough cash to properly diversify and they are chosen by goals first and then by which funds lost the least in prior "meltdowns" (which knocks out many with the best "10 year track record".
