Overview

In the process of building my own practice, under our wonderful Cedar brook umbrella. We are an independent shop with about 40 advisors, and 1.2 Billion under management. While everyone is independent, our firm allows us leverage resources, to provide an incredible client experience, while still providing us the freedom and flexibility to build our own practices. Currently my clients hire me as their own personal CFO and Architect to construct and implement a wealth management strategy that suits their individual situation. My focus first and foremost is planning, and positioning myself as 1 of the top 3 most important people in my clients lives outside of their immediate family. Since I have been in the industry about 5 years, but only 1 year in development, I'm looking for a way to step into a practice that I can leverage my skill set, enhance client relationships, and provide stability so that I can focus on building a practice and not managing a book. I understand the most challenging part to this business is finding clients, which I'm doing, but it takes time. If I can get a little help by acquiring a practice, I'm willing to make that investment for the stable cash flow. I also see this as perfect way to help an older advisor step away in time and enjoy retirement the same way he/she has helped his clients plan for it.
