My business is primarily focused on income planning as clients approach retirement age or enter in retirement. This is done through analysis of income gaps that exist. Younger clients are focused on accumulation planning utilizing tax strategies and downside protection of their investments. I use primarily third party managers with little portfolio management on my part.

I am planning on retiring in three years with hopes to join the purchasing firm now and then helping with the transitioning of my clients. The assets under management are $30M with 90% of the assets in advisory accounts. The remaining 10% is in commissioned mutual funds. Currently I am with a broker dealer but am open to other management types. The majority of the clients are located in the metro west and Boston areas.

I relocated my business to Florida in 2019 but continue to come to the Boston area once per month to meet with clients.
