We are a small firm looking to grow by helping other advisers sunset. I myself and another adviser are actively looking to sunset ourselves and transition the business to my son-in-law who will ultimately manage the firm. The active advisers in the firm both originated with Edward Jones and will, over the long haul, maintain some connection to our clients. We encourage a new adviser to do the same.
Currently we are strictly an RIA, however we will likely create a portion of our business to return to some insurance products. If that could be done by acquisition, so much the better.
Our business stretches down to South Carolina and we work heavily with individual stock selection and individual bonds, with a focus on ESG investments. Nonetheless, at least 25% of our AUM is managed in mutual funds.
