I am financial advisor, branch manager, and supervisor (OSJ) for a small independent financial firm. I'm interested in exploring the purchase of a small book of business from a local advisor who is interested in selling to a colleague that will continue to service their clients in a manner in which they are accustomed to. I would like to buy a practice in which the current advisor would be willing to take some time to transition clients in a mutually beneficial manner. Client retention and client loyalty are very important to me, and the key to a successful transition. I have a long term goal to grow, but only at a rate in which I can continue to service my client base in the best manner possible. I am mostly focused on fee-based managed accounts, variable and fixed annuities, REITs, MLDC's, and traditional mutual funds accounts in my practice.
