I currently have a weekly radio show that brings in clients for me to help them build a written retirement plan. I utilize tactical managed money plus fixed indexed annuities and fixed indexed universal life insurance. So my plans stress safety and predictable income. I help clients with social security planning as well as pro active tax planning. I'm also knowledgeable about federal benefit plans. I will do about 10 million in AUM and about 10-12 million in FIAs plus approximately 100k in target premium FIUL this year. I use mostly tactically managed ETFs with lower costs and lower volatility. My firm is all about relationships with our clients. I would like to add/merge another adviser into my practice with the idea of taking over my business in a few years. I have a nice office that has room for another adviser as well as admin support. I am also interested in looking at buying another practice in my area with similar feelings about safe retirement investing. I would consider mentoring someone fairly new to the business with the idea of succession in the future.
I am not ready to sell my practice.
