Scott is no stranger to business. With over 10 years of business experience, it runs through his whole family as entrepreneurs. “I grew up watching my mother who owned a retail store and my father who still operates a financial planning firm.” Scott got the desire to one day operate his own organization while in college. He soon became a co-founder of a successful E-Commerce business he operated for many years before selling it. “Learning how to negotiate contracts, talk with venture capitalist and developing a customer service platform, was a better education then anything I ever learned in college.”

After the sale of his business, Scott ventured into his second career. Working as an advisor with his fathers firm has been a great segue from his former career. “It was a perfect transition with my background to help those looking to plan for the future.” With a brief stint in Cleveland working at a regional bank as an advisor, was the decision of a lifetime as he met his future wife (a Louisville native) while there. Now back in Louisville before the wedding next year, gives him the opportunity to plan another major milestone. Scott says…”I had to go out of town to find a local girl.”

Scott is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys playing golf, especially now since the weather is getting better.

As life takes us on many roads, so does planning for ones future. Scott loves the challenges that come with ones changes in life. He likes the emotional connection that is created with planning ones future. “ It is not about product, but process, as we try to decipher the intricacies and the details of ones goals.”
