Overview

Since 2019 I have been working in my firm as Vice President of Client Services. I assist the lead advisor with all aspects of advisement. From 2014 until 2019 I acted as a Junior advisor since I was part of the succession plan for the Senior advisor at the time. I was being groomed to gradually take over the book at the retirement of the principal and senior advisor. His sudden and premature death changed the trajectory of the succession plan.

Before entering the Financial Services Industry, I spent over 20 years working in a family-owned human resource business. I also pursued a dream and owned a restaurant for a few years. So working with independent business owners is certainly a specialty of mine. Owning my restaurant is where I met the senior advisor and principal who thought I would be a good fit for and be successful in this business.

I have an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. I also have the CRPS Designation (Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist) from the College for Financial Planning.

Currently I am looking to become part of a practice where I can buy into or join the practice and help grow or even gradually take over the book. I guess my dream scenario would be finding a “soon to retire” advisor who would be looking to me to learn their clients’ situations and their needs and that I would gradually take over the book of business. I am ready to move on any potential opportunity immediately.
