Overview

We run what we describe as a tactical contrarian practice. We primarily use managed accounts utilizing stocks, CE, ETF, Mutual Funds, Alternatives (ranging from REITs, BDCs, Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Hedge Funds), and options. The partners have worked with many firms before settling where they are (Ameriprise Financial, Edward Jones, Thornburg, Merrill Lynch, and Dreyfus to name a few). With our backgrounds ranging from commodities, wholesaling, wire houses and financial advisory services we have a wide array of value we add to clients the average practice cannot compete with.

Despite being just outside of Fort Worth, the majority (70% or so) of our clientele is farm and ranch. We have developed a niche that we do not believe anyone has build that can compete with our farm and ranch value proposition. Many are worried about farm and ranch clientele having investable assets, but you can look at our AUM and number of clients and see that is not the case. I spend half my months on the road from Waco, to Stephenville, to Decatur, to Amarillo. This doesnt mean you would have to do the same, but it does mean the areas in which I am looking to aquire are larger in radius than just the Fort Worth area. The remaining 30% or so of our clients are local clientele.
