Position Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships including regular and ongoing client contact and communication
• Attend client meetings in a technical, supporting and learning role
• Client service including information data gathering, planning updates, portfolio changes and reviews
• Retirement plan marketing, participant education meetings, process management
• Review existing clients for life insurance needs
• Utilize financial planning software and tools
• Enter orders at advisor’s discretion
• Manage and organize client seminars
• Manage outbound marketing projects
• Complete special projects as needed

Required Skills and Expertise
• At least two years of experience working in the financial services industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to deal professionally with clients
• Experience using client relationship management systems and databases
• Proficient on MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other computer software applications
• Ability to think through issues and problems from the client’s perspective and offer appropriate solutions
• Ability to work independently
• Exhibits strong ethics and a desire to help clients and give them extraordinary service
• Must pass criminal and credit background checks

Education Expectations
• Series 7 and 66 registration required or willing to obtain within 6 months of employment
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) highly desirable
• College degree from an accredited college or university in business or related field
