I have been in the financial services business for nine years. I have a balanced mix of annuities, mutual funds, stocks and bonds. I provide financial planning services, as well. More recently, I have begun transitioning my business to fee-based, active management (where it makes sense). My clients and I have strong relationships. While I currently grow my business by referrals, I hope to build more local relationships by buying a practice or becoming a successor to another established business. Because I have a small practice and my children are a little older, I feel I am in a good position to take on and provide services to more clients. I am only interested in an independent advisor platform and am not interested in transitioning my existing book away from my current broker-dealer.
